The first step would be to speak with your spray tan artist to find the best solution for your skin. I personally recommend our Premium solution, since it fades the best.
Once you book your appointment, the next step is to moisturize leading up to it. Moisturizer is going to play a large role in keeping your skin healthy, and glowing. Also be sure to moisturize regularly throughout the life of your tan.
The next thing you will want to do before your tan is to exfoliate, our Dermasuri mitts are perfect for this! Ask your spray tan artist about getting one of these in your spray tan care kit!
You never want to layer spray tan over spray tan. This will lead to blotchy, and uneven fading. Be sure to get ALL of your old spray tan off before getting a new one. If you are having trouble removing all of the spray pick up a pack of Polident (yes the denture cleaner). Take 4-5 tablets, and put them in a hot bath. Soak in the bath for at least 20 minutes, then exfoliate after. All of your leftover spray tan should come off, leaving a fresh canvas for your new one.
Some clients can exfoliate normally without using the Polident. It all depends on your skin, and the way it reacts to the tan.
